Piano technicians are like auto mechanics. After they finish working on their project they like to take it for a spin!
This is my arrangement of a 1930’s song played by George Shearing called September In The Rain on the Kawai Grand I reconditioned at Asbury Church in Raleigh, NC Summer of 2019
The balance of the right hand is made easier by the workmanship of the Kawai piano. After 25 years the keys got loose and the sound was too loud making it impossible to play a soft rhythmic tune.
After my work I hope you agree that the tune is more balanced and more pleasant to the here. Enjoy!
